Weekly Document Examination Classes Open to Everyone

This continuing education program is open to anyone interested in the field of document examination. This program is part of the training for document examiners. It is offered as an opportunity to learn more about the field of document examination.

Classes are taught Monday evenings using a virtual classroom. Each class touches upon a subject related to document examination and is independent of the other classes enabling you to join at any time during the two year period. The classes are free and can be used to meet the requirements of IADE for continuing education for all members.

About Kathie Koppenhaver

Kathie Koppenhaver has been a document examiner, also known as a handwriting expert, since 1983 and a Certified Forensic Document Examiner since 1986. She is past president of the National Association of Document Examiners (NADE) and former editor of the Communique, NADE's quarterly newsletter. She has demonstrated her ability to analyze handwriting with a high degree of accuracy by participating in Proficiency Testing through Forensic Expertise Profiling Laboratory (FEPL). She is the author of the Forensic Document Examination Interactive Training Program. Mrs. Koppenhaver wrote Attorney's Guide to Document Examination (2001) as well as a college textbook: Forensic Document Examination, Principles and Practice (2007).
